The website has been initiated as a "one stop" resource for Hornsea residents and visitors.
'The initial seed funding from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council High Street Fund has enabled us to set up the site and provide a short term plan for maintenance and updates.
We need to create long term security for the project by looking at ways we can monetise the site. One of the ways in which we can do that is by offering advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
At the present moment, pretty much everything is fluid yet we have already identified some opportunities for businesses to add much more content and an image to a listing by upgrading the standard free entry (example shown below) to an enhanced listing as shown above.
These enhanced listings will then be displayed above the standard listings in the relevant category and you may also have your business listed in more than one category further enhancing your exposure.
